The PDO features a 6061 aluminum housing, red emitter and the most rugged glass we could find. It has been drop tested on concrete (by Joe Dolio of Tactical Wisdom) and recoil tested on a 45-70. Other design considerations we thought of after nearly two decades of combined optics use on handguns: exposed battery compartment access so you can actually change the battery without needing to remove the optic, a simple flathead screwdriver turret adjustment, and a simple red 3 MOA dot for fast target acquisition. A Solid Daytime Optic

For context, I put this on a Ruger Mk IV with an RMR LowPro mount. Indexing with this sight is quite natural, as I find that the dot sits only slightly higher than the iron sights of the pistol itself. While it does not cowitness with the iron sights, due to a higher deck, this is a justifiable tradeoff for a top-loading red dot, in my estimation, and it may cowitness with other setups. The adjustment buttons are convenient, and distinguishable by feel in the dark. In the course of writing this review, I tested the night vision settings, of which there are two. However, viewing either setting with my PVS-14 produced only large circles of two brightnesses, which covered the entirety of the glass, and I discovered no mark with which to aim. It seems, therefore, that the night vision settings on mine may be rather too bright for usage under night vision. I intend this mainly for daytime shooting, and if your purposes coincide with my own, I doubt not but that you shall be well served by this optic.

Better than expected

I didn't know what to expect, since thing is my first ever optic. Very pleasantly surprised, and shiopimg was way faster than i ever expected, especially since they had CanCon to go to that weekend.
